This was brilliant! I thought Rue was a wonderful MC – she has a dark past who is now striving to be a better person for the sake of Colby- a child stuck in moth form forever. There were a couple moments where I felt a little confused but everything is explained in time. It didn’t lessen my enjoyment of the story which was fast-paced and action-packed. Looking forward to the next one!”

Wow! What a brilliant introduction to the world of Rama, where the King’s younger brother, Jodathyn, longs for a life outside the palace walls and, unfortunately, gets his wish in the most brutal way possible. When Jodathyn’s young nephew (the King’s son) goes missing and Jod tries to find him in the woods, it quickly becomes apparent that evil forces are trying to hurt the royal family, using whatever means necessary. We follow Jod’s adventures outside the palace in his quest to save his nephew and understand the strange power growing inside him. Meanwhile, we also see the sneaky political maneuvering going on inside the palace walls as the other Lords try to convince the King that Jod should be blamed for the Prince’s disappearance. While there is a hint of romance, the familial ties are at the forefront of the story. There are also a few dragons which is awesome (who doesn’t love dragons?!), but I won’t say too much for fear of spoiling the story. But trust me, you won’t be disappointed!”
